A lawsuit has been filed against a Florida auto accident lawyer who allegedly assaulted his pregnant wife with a hammer and then killed her.
More than 200 people have signed a lawsuit against attorney Mark Davis, who is suing the family of Jennifer Mott for $20 million.
The lawsuit accuses Davis of physically abusing his wife and then leaving her to die.
Davis, who has been sued by family members of several other women who were killed while in a car accident, denies the allegations.
He has also filed a motion to dismiss the case, claiming that his wife is not mentally disabled.
In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs claim that Davis repeatedly used the hammer on his wife as he repeatedly tried to leave.
The suit says that the hammer was used in the early hours of May 17, 2017, after Jennifer Mollens daughter was born and shortly after the family went on a date.
Jennifer Mott was the father of three of her children, including a 2-year-old daughter.
A family friend told the Associated Press that Jennifer Molls was in the car at around 8:30 a.m. when Davis drove his car into her.
The victim’s daughter, 3-year old Alisa, died at the scene, according to the family.
The suit alleges that Davis was “an abusive, dangerous, and irresponsible person” who caused the death of his wife.
The lawsuit says that he was drunk when he struck her, and that he then drove her into the road and onto a nearby bridge.
