Former Lyft drivers have been charged with drunken driving, according to a report.
The Seattle Times reports the driver, Daniel Shumway, was arrested Wednesday and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Shumway is the first Lyft driver to be arrested in the case.
Shrumway, 34, of Bellevue, was pulled over by police for failing to signal for a lane change, according the Times.
The driver told police he had been drinking and had “had several drinks prior to the incident.”
He allegedly told police that he drank six beers and smoked marijuana prior to his arrest.
Shomway is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
